P&L Responsibility for the Americas region with the local branches and distributors as well as the strategic management of the country organizations
Close cooperation with the country managers in strategy development and implementation
Ensuring the achievement of strategic and commercial growth targets in the individual countries and the region as a whole
Active participation in global corporate management at the headquarters in Switzerland
Regular trips to the subsidiaries and distribution partners in the Asia region
Supporting the country organization in expanding the product and service portfolio, service business and implementing global marketing initiatives
Your profile
Degree in natural sciences, ideally in chemistry, biology or electrical engineering
Several years of global management responsibility for several international locations
At least 2 years of experience in the local markets and culture in North and South America (ideally with local residence)
Business fluent in English, as well as German, Spanish / Portuguese are an advantage
Very good knowledge of the markets for laboratory automation, liquid handling and/or process analytics
Strong leader, communicative personality, able to navigate North/South American culture and communicate appropriately
Independent, organized and structured way of working with clear objectives
