Developing the measurement strategy for prototypes and purchased parts based on 3D CAD drawings
Programming of measuring programs for 3D measuring machines, in particular on Wenzel measuring systems (Quartis).
Carrying out 3D measurements on Wenzel and Zeiss measuring systems (approx. 20% of working time)
Creation, review and evaluation of measurement protocols.
Introduction and further development of new measurement technologies (e.g. roughness tests, series measurements)
Responsible for monitoring measuring equipment and setting up, maintaining and organizing the 3D measuring room
Training and support for other employees in measurement technology
Answering customer inquiries in cooperation with the project managers, engineers and quality managers
Active participation in interdisciplinary teams for root cause analysis and problem solving in the event of deviations etc.
Your profile
Completed technical training (e.g. measurement technician, industrial mechanic, toolmaker, etc.)
Sound knowledge of programming and defining measuring strategies on 3D measuring machines, ideally Wenzel (Quartis)
Experience with Zeiss measuring systems and measuring software an advantage
Knowledge of quality methods and tools (MSA, FMEA, 8D, SPC).
Confident handling of technical drawings and 3D CAD data
Ability to work in a team, strong communication skills and a positive attitude
Enjoy working in an international corporate environment
Good command of written and spoken English.
