The Regulatory Compliance organizational unit is a staff function of the Medgate Group. In the context of the digitalization of medical care, it provides services for group functions and companies. The service portfolio includes the planning, consulting, implementation, and operation of measures within the regulatory framework. The focus is on information security, data protection, AI compliance, and medical devices.
Your area of responsibility
- Represents the topic of regulatory compliance at Medgate Group level within the Executive Board.
- Takes the lead in compliance areas such as information security, data protection, AI compliance, and medical devices.
- Leads the Regulatory Compliance Team.
- Coordinates compliance activities with the Group companies.
- Establishes a policy framework within the Medgate Group for implementing regulatory requirements.
- Supports the organization in change management and project activities for all compliance-related issues.
- Performs operational tasks in the areas of information security and data protection (assessments, management of the data protection compliance platform, handling of inquiries and incidents, audits, etc.).
- Responsible for ensuring that compliance issues are identified, integrated, and implemented within the Medgate Group organization.
- Responsible for liaising with the parent company, the Otto Group, on compliance issues (e.g., reporting, audits).
- Responsible for sourcing contracts and the budget related to outsourcing compliance activities.
- Introduce the use of AI to automate tasks and ensure better risk assessment.
Your profile
- Possesses relevant qualifications and experience in the areas of information security, quality management, and regulatory compliance in general.
- Qualifications and experience in data protection, risk management, and the regulation of medical devices are highly desirable.
- Has extensive experience in the IT sector, namely in software development and IT service operations.
- Possesses excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Is a dependable, trustworthy person with high integrity.
- Able to maintain orientation, focus, and composure in a highly dynamic environment.
- Fluent in spoken and written German and English.
- Is technically proficient in implementing changes from new areas (AI).
