Plastics Technologist / Set-up Technician
Your area of responsibility
Independently setting up, preparing, and starting up injection molding machines, peripheral equipment, and precision molds in a cleanroom
Setup and maintenance of tapping tools, including tool alignment, as well as adjustment and inspection of concentricity
Monitoring and optimization of machine parameters, tool alignment, and process sequences
Performing tool changes, as well as systematically analyzing and resolving technical malfunctions
Participation in equipment, tool, and process validations, including IQ/OQ/PQ, revalidations, and process approvals
Maintenance of relevant process, validation, production, and tooling documentation
Coordinating machine scheduling and the requirements for materials, tools, and peripheral equipment with the relevant internal departments
Performing defined maintenance and repair tasks, as well as assisting with tool adjustments
Technical support and training for operating personnel
Ensuring compliance with cleanroom, hygiene, quality, and schedule requirements
Continuous optimization of production processes in terms of quality, process stability, and efficiency
Your profile
Completed training as a plastics technologist (EFZ), preferably specializing in injection molding, or comparable technical training
Several years of professional experience in plastic injection molding, ideally in the medical, diagnostic, or cleanroom sectors
Strong knowledge of tooling technology and experience working with precision tools, injection molding machines, and peripheral equipment
Experience with tip tools and knowledge of adjusting and checking concentricity are a plus
Experience in process optimization, sample testing, and validated production processes
Knowledge of IQ/OQ/PQ, revalidations, and process approvals is a plus
Confident Handling of Process Parameters and Technical Documentation
Experience with handling systems is an added bonus
