Your area of responsibility
Responsibility for systematic quality improvement at the product and process levels in the assigned production area
Facilitating Q-Shopfloor topics and processing and coordinating 8D reports
Conducting and Overseeing Internal Audits
Coordination and Decision-Making on Cross-Functional Quality Issues
Responsibility for restricted areas, as well as delivery and special access approvals
Development and implementation of a systematic quality and testing plan for in-house manufactured products
Ongoing optimization and streamlining of existing testing processes
Close collaboration with Production, Work Planning, Process Engineering, and Development
Support for quality-related issues in both product industrialization and mass production
Your profile
Basic technical training, such as in precision optics, as a physics lab technician, or in a comparable technical occupation
Ideally, advanced training at the technician level or a comparable qualification
Several years of professional experience in precision optics or in a closely related technical field
Experience in production and/or quality assurance
In-depth knowledge of quality planning and quality assurance
Experience with quality methods such as 8D and Six Sigma
Proficiency in measurement and testing technology
A highly independent, organized, and solution-oriented approach to work
Strong communication skills and a passion for cross-functional collaboration
Very good knowledge of German and English
